History The first version of the system "Gastroenterology" was created in 1997 with prof.Y.Reshetilov's consultation and assistance (city hospital N9, Zaporozhye, Ukraine). Because customary diagnostic techniques are imperfect they don't produce single-valued results. Therefore effectiveness of treatment cannot be high. Our system of diagnostic has unique abilities:

Short description The system of gastrointestinal tract diagnostic is used for measuring acidity (pH) and pressure (P) in a stomach and a duodenum. The system is composed of hardware (ISA and LPT versions are available at present) and software. The system allows to read 8 sensors simultaneously. Sensors may be placed at various depth. There are 4 acidity sensors and 4 pressure sensors in the probe. Test duration is limited only size of hard disk. Sensors is read from 1 to 16 times per second. It guarantees necessary accuracy of measurement.  It is possible to set degree of data smoothing. In the presence of data smoothing measured quantity is averaged. In case of low degree of data smoothing the system will register even short-time fluctuating of measured quantities. And in case of high degree of data smoothing short-time fluctuating will be averaged. Thus the system will measure average values of acidity and pressure. For example if "smoothing"=20 every point will be simple average of 20 previous values. Measurement results may be displayed graphically and printed.   The system accelerates to diagnose of a patient because graphic presentation of information promotes understanding of measuring result. Also it is possible to select medications at the time of diagnostics because a doctor can see therapeutic effect of medication he uses. |
